COVID-19: 4,113 new cases, 34 fatalities on Friday - Director of Health

Kuala Lumpur- Currently, a total of 4,113 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, a small decrease from the 4,855 cases reported yesterday.
Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, director-general of health, also stated on his official Twitter account that 4,190 recovery incidents were identified overnight.
"The latest cases for today contained 4,112 local transmissions involving 3,791 Malaysians, with the rest being foreigners. One verified imported case existed "He said.
There were also 34 confirmed deaths, all of which were Malaysians, taking the COVID-19 death toll in the world to 1,822 cases.
In addition, 482 patients are being treated in the intensive care unit, with 250 of them being intubated, he added.
The total number of active COVID-19 cases is now 41,471, according to Dr. Noor Hisham. Selangor had the most new cases confirmed, with 1,269 infections, followed by Sarawak (533 cases) and Kelantan (371 cases).
After that, Dr. Noor Hisham said in a statement that 13 new COVID-19 clusters were identified today, including four at work.
