COVID-19: 3,780 new cases, Selangor still recorded the highest number of cases

Kuala Lumpur- Over the last 24 hours, 3,780 new COVID-19 positive cases were registered, taking the total number of cases in the country to 470,110.
Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, Director General of Health, issued a statement on the matter on Sunday.
“As of May 16, 2021, the cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases was 3,780 cases (470,110 cases”),” he tweeted.
Selangor has the largest number of cases, with 1,275, for a total of 153,663 cases.
Sarawak came in second with 405 cases, with a total of 38,383 cases so far.

Kedah had the most cases (363), followed by Kelantan (357), the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (342), and Johor (339). (224).
Penang (187), Pahang (159), Melaka (122) and Perak (115) were the states with the most new cases under 200.
Sabah had 87 cases, Negeri Sembilan had 70, Terengganu had 58, the Federal Territories of Labuan and Putrajaya each had seven, and Perlis had two.
