COVID-19: 6,976 new cases, Malaysia's highest positive case record

Kuala Lumpur - On Sunday the highest since the outbreak in the country in February of last year was 6,976 new COVID-19 cases reported.


The increase leads to 512,091 cumulative COVID-19 infections in the world.


Selangor also has the largest number of new infections with 2,235 cases, or 32 percent of the total cases, according to Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, the Director General of Health.
