All private hospitals are asked to be prepared to deal with the sharp increase in COVID-19 cases.
Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, COVID-19 cases involving hospitals nationwide are increasing, including the use of facilities in intensive care units (ICU). “The rate of bed use in the ICU in hospitals under the MOH (Ministry of Health) has now increased by more than 70 percent and in the Central Region has exceeded 100 percent.
