SERI KEMBANGAN: The media statement of the movement control order (PKP) by Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Ismail Sabri Yaakob today did not mention anything about the full Movement Control Order.
This is despite many looking forward to the outcome of today's National Security Council (NSC) meeting chaired by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to discuss imposing a full PKP to curb the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic.
Apart from the usual statistics and announcements on locations placed under the tightened movement control order (PKPD), Ismail Sabri's press release was not much different from his usual.
This is because the country continues to record an increase in the number of new cases and the death of Covid-19 prompting pressure for Putrajaya to impose a full PKP similar to that imposed at the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak last year.
